Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great Christmas. Thank you once again for the cards, presents and messages-they were very much appreciated. Having now completed our learning about the Great Fire of London and The Gunpowder Plot our focus switches to a new topic, ‘Hall of Fame!’ During term 3, we will learn all about nurturing nurses from the past, from Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole to the incredibly brave Edith Cavell. If you feel you can enrich this topic in any way for our wonderful class, please send me an email or speak to me at the gate.
