Hello Pine Class!
I hope that you all have had a wonderful Easter eating lots of chocolate and playing lots of games with your family. There has certainly been too much chocolate eaten in our house!
As the new term begins, it all seems very strange not being in school to see your cheery faces and hear about all of your Easter adventures. However, school will continue! At the beginning of each week I will post some activities for you to have a go at at home. For those of you missing routine, there should be enough to keep you busy for a while each day and for those of you who are busy finding other things to do with your time (such as learning to ride your bike or tie your shoelaces) then just have a go at as much of it as you can.
It would be lovely to hear from you all, so please send me photo's of your work/activities (whatever they may be) on firstname.lastname@example.org
Please make good use of purple mash. I will set some activities for you to have a go at - some of these will be spelling and some might be more open ended. Once you have completed the work it will be sent straight to me to have a look at and comment on. Purple mash is also a great platform for catching up with friends through our class blog.
I am available on email if you have any questions or queries about the work set. Keep busy and keep safe. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon :)
Mrs Matthews and Mrs Boulby welcome you all to Pine Class!
We hope that you have had a brilliant Summer and are ready to start to new school year full of energy and enthusiasm.
PE is on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings.
Homework will be sent home on Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.
Our topic this term is 'London's Burning'. Over the term, we will be having plenty of fun learning all about The Great Fire of London and the impact it has had on our lives today. We will also be learning more about the fire service and fire safety with a very special surprise!
If you have any questions at all, feel free to come in at the end of the school day or send me an email on email@example.com and I will be happy to chat.
