Peace and Reflection 2023-24

Our Forces Club have been working hard every week since September and created some beautiful and poignant poems, prayers and creative writing to read out to the school.

Peace - 2022/2023

In Year 5, we have been thinking about people and places that help find peace . We have spoken about the fruits of the spirit and how we can live our lives to enable us to live peacefully with ourselves and others.es that help find peace . In Year 4 we reflected on the story of Joseph and what lessons could be learnt about peace. After this we created peace prayers on a colourful coat!

In Year 3 , we wrote peace promises and thought about how we can get on with our friends and family better .

We also explored the Christmas story and drew pictures of peaceful manger scenes

In Year , we have made peace promise wreaths and did role play of Noah’s Ark.

In Year 1 we have made our own peace babies . We thought about ways to keep our classroom nice and peaceful. Dereck said ‘’We could show love to one another.’’ Maya exclaimed ‘’We could listen to each other and show respect to everyone.’’

In Reception, we have made peace biscuits and thought about our peaceful place for homework. We took a photo of us in our peaceful place.
