Catering Company:
Meals are currently provided and brought in to us by Good Lookin' Cookin'. The company is based locally (just outside Lincoln) and are committed to using local produce and providing a good, healthy meal for our pupils each day. The meals are prepared at their premises and delivered to school in hot boxes just before the lunch time break. Meals can be purchased each week by ordering them by the Thursday of the previous week. Menus can be accessed and bookings made via GLC website. All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible to receive a meal free of charge (Universal Infant Free School Meals). Meals must still be booked for these pupils. Alternatively pupils may bring a packed lunch into school.
Paying for lunches:
Please book and pay for your child's school meal through the GLC website. Meals currently cost £2.50 per day.
If you feel that you may be entitled to receive free school meals for your child, then please contact the school office or click on the following link: Apply for free school meals – Lincolnshire County Council Parents of pupils in KS1 who now receive a meal free of charge, should be aware that it is still important that if you are eligible for free school meals by virtue of your circumstance, you apply for formal free school meal status and that you maintain this, as only through this formal process is additional funding made available to the school to support your child. This funding is intended to close the gap in attainment levels between those pupils from low-income and disadvantaged families and their peers. At no time are pupils entitled to free school meals identified as such within the classroom / peer groups. A formal entitlement to free school meals also enables parents to access subsidies for music lessons and trips.
