Term 1 - Tag Rugby
In our PE sessions, we are working on improving our throwing & catching and teamworking skills for invasion games. During each lesson, we are working on a different skill which is important to be able to be play tag rugby. These include:
- hand-eye co-ordination
- passing (including spin passing)
- catching at different heights
- dodging
- quick decision making
In each lesson, we have a particular skill focus and then try and apply this in a game at the end, as we are also working on understanding tactical play.
