Term 3 - Fitness: Circuit Training

In our Monday PE session, we are working on improving our stamina. Miss Sheardown carefully designed a circuit which combines different exercises to target core strength, cardio and work on our arm and leg muscle groups. We are using this circuit for the first 3 weeks of term, setting a target each week to try and achieve to see an increase in our stamina and fitness levels.

 

Term 3 - Dance from the 1940s

In our Friday PE session, we are learning a different style of dance each week from the wartime era. These will include: the Charleston, the Lambeth Walk and the Lindyhop! In this topic, there will be opportunities to learn different routines from professional dance tutors online (including the team who taught us on our Wartime Christmas Trip back in December), plus put together some of our own choreography.
