Class 3 decided that they would not just learn about why the Romans were so successful by looking at primary and secondary sources of evidence but in addition they would ferocious re-enact their battle tactics too. They hoped that by investigating these manoeuvres practically that they might get a better understanding of why each was success in certain situations. Lastly they explored how these battle tactics have influenced currently modern military warfare. The enjoyment on their faces was clear but most importantly they all also could name the tactics, work in teams to get into position and explain what situations they would be most suitable for. They looked like they had great fun in their lesson.
