Read Write Inc

Read Write Inc is the scheme used to teach the children to read. During the autumn term, the children will be learning lots of new sounds. As well as learning to blend these sounds orally, through lots of Fred talk games. You can support you child at home through watching the videos (uploaded onto Tapestry), practicing letter formation and recapping the sounds. The letter formation sheets and sound cards will be sent home weekly, as the children learn them.
