Week 1 - Number & Place Value
In our very first maths lesson of the year, we worked on a group murder mystery-themed activity. Here we read a fictional account of a crime which had been committed with a variety of maths questions to do to whittle down the list of suspects.
From there, we launched straight into the Year 6 curriculum with an important series of lessons based around number and place value.
