Our Curriculum

Navenby CE Primary School

Our Curriculum Intent

It is our intention that the children leave Navenby with the aspirations to continue learning.  In order to ensure they have further aspirations, we know that they must be inspired by the teaching and the opportunities they are given.

Aspirational Prospects!

  • Community
  • Language
  • Well-being
  • Being collaborative
  • Being curious
  • Being resilient

We will provide a curriculum which all of our children can access and enjoy; a curriculum which is delivered in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment, where every child feels they belong, where individual liberty is celebrated and aspirations are seen as achievable goals.  Our children will remember more and know more so they will be able to hold meaningful conversations using appropriate language on a variety of topics, taking these beyond the school into the community

Our drivers make our curriculum personal to the children of Navenby as we strive to serve the community we work in.  Working within this dedicated community, providing wider collaborative opportunities and ensuring children are happy, will breed a love of learning leading to curious, resilient, self-motivated, successful and proud learners who are confident about their futures.

Through these positive daily experiences, every person will feel part of our church school family, and everyone will be able to flourish and achieve in God’s name.

"Rooted in faith, strengthened by family"
