Children foster a love of designing and making models whilst developing their creative, technical and practical skills in a range of contexts in line with the curriculum.

DT Implementation

Teachers will deliver well-planned and resourced lessons that inspire creative thinking, develop practical skills and embed technical knowledge all whilst guiding children in the journey to creating their final pieces.

DT Impact

Children will have learnt new design technology skills whilst using a range of resources safely and effectively. They will have worked collaboratively and curiously to create a model they are proud of. They will be able to reflect on their final piece to identify areas of improvement for their future learning.
