School Prayer
Dear God,
This is our school,
Keep us safe and happy as we learn
Sharing our talents, supporting each other
Displaying friendly qualities, keeping us strong.
Give us the confidence to try new things
Be proud of our work, laugh and sing
Help us to ‘do right’ the whole day through.
We worship you Lord and give praise unto you.
Amen
Why is our school prayer important? Why do we say it?
"We are praying to God" "The prayer is to support everyone at our school"
"It shows that we want our school to keep growing and getting better"
"It is a nice way to end our collective worship and make sure everyone has a good day"
"It is a way to remind us we are safe in school and that we should be kind to everyone"
"Our prayer helps us to understand the school rules; to respect everyone and God"
