Mathematics
In maths we follow the White Rose Scheme. Throughout the year we will focus on developing a strong grounding in number, numerical patterns, and shape, space, and measures. It aims to build confidence and competence through playful, hands-on experiences before building up to looking at how we can record our maths in preparation for year 1. We will look at subitising, numbers to 10, verbal counting to 20 and beyond, 2D and 3D shapes and mass and capacity.
