Class Information

Welcome to our Year 2 page.  You will be able to see what the children will be learning by clicking on the subject links.  Our Autumn newsletter can be found attached below.

This term, Mr Swain and Mrs Gumley will continue to guide the children through their learning, with the wonderful Mrs Boulby taking the class on a Wednesday whilst Mr Swain is planning.

PE

PE will take place on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, but please keep your child’s PE kit in school all week in case things change.

Reading

Please continue to read with your children and fill in their diaries at least three times a week. As the saying goes, once you learn to read, you can read to learn. The class have developed a wonderful attitude towards reading and it is lovely to see them reading for pleasure.

Homework

Thank you for all your support with homework. We will continue to send this out on a Friday to be handed in on a Wednesday.
