This term, we have been learning all about World War II in our history lessons. We have been developing our understanding of chronology by beginning our learning with the build-up to war and following how the conflict developed through key events such as the Dunkirk evacuations, the Blitz and the Battle of Britain, all of which contributed to the resolution of the conflict with VE Day and VJ Day. We have interpreted a range of sources of evidence to understand cause and effect and have had some fantastic school trips to supplement our learning.
