Pine Class

Welcome to Pine class.

Mrs Matthews and Mrs Boulby welcome you all the Pine Class!

We hope that you have had a brilliant Summer and are ready to start to new school year full of energy and enthusiasm.

PE is on a Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning.

Homework will be sent home on Thursday to be returned the following Tuesday.

Our topic this term is 'Abra Cadabra'. Over the term we will be exploring the magic (and science) of bubbles, mixing and making potions and using our imagination a lot!

If you have any questions at all, feel free to come in at the end of the school day or send us an email on kelly.matthews@navenby.lincs.sch.uk and we will be happy to chat.

This term we are learning about the Great Fire of London. We have begun our topic exploring where London is on a map and learning about the United Kingdom. We have learned about how the fire started, why it spread and (most interestingly!) how disgusting living conditions were in London.

The Great Fire of Navenby!

We have had a great couple of weeks exploring magic through science.

We were extremely excited to discover that over the weekend our 'crystal garden' had begun to grow! We have been using the words dissolve and evaporate to explain how the crystals have been made.

Why not have a go at home!
