We follow the Jigsaw curriculum for our PSHE learning. The first term is all about our dreams and goals, during which time we've explored our dreams for the year, steps that we will take to try and achieve them.

We've then been comparing our life experiences to that of children growing up in a completely different situation to us - specifically some children who live and work on the cocoa plantations in Ghana. We learnt all about Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and how in order for us to be able to realise our dreams and goals, the base of the pyramid needs to be filled first!

We thought about how a child in Ghana's pyramid might look different to ours.
