Covid-19 Visitor Guidelines
Navenby CE Primary is asking for the support and understanding of our visitors in helping us minimise the risk of Covid-19.
Navenby continues to take guidance from Public Health England, the Government and the DfE. Taking this into account, we are now limiting access to the site to essential visitors only. If you are unsure as to whether your proposed visit is considered essential, please email the School Reception at firstname.lastname@example.org
If your visit to Navenby is an essential one, we would nevertheless ask that you refrain from visiting if:
Along with all members of the Navenby community, any visitors to the School should wash their hands with soap and water or hand gel before leaving home and once they arrive at Navenby School. Gel hand sanitiser will also be available on arrival and throughout your visit.
For the avoidance of potential embarrassment, we would also like to advise you that the School is currently operating a ‘no handshake’ policy for all members of its community.
We apologise for not being able to give you our usual warm welcome, but we must take the current situation very seriously and look after the welfare of our pupils and staff.
We are asking that all visitors, who are here to work in a specific class, wear a face mask to potentially protect our young people and staff from infection. These can be provided by the school where necessary.
Adults are, where possible, trying to stay 1+ metre apart from each other (in line with Government advice) and so we ask this of our visitors too.
Any visitors who bring resources are asked to wipe these before and after use with our pupils using appropriate sanitising products. School resources, which are required by the visitor (eg computer keyboard) will be wiped by the school staff prior to, and after, the visit.
If you have any questions, please contact the member of staff you were due to visit.
